To rival the likes of Glee and Degrassi comes the brand new TV show drama, Windbreakers. The typical teen High School drama with the added twist of the teens living in Tinseltown that is expected to draw both the teen and young adult audience in. In the words of many experienced TV actors, acting in a show series starts out as a family. But behind the scenes, behind what the producers want the media and watchers to know, nothing is really what is caught on camera. There’s no need to know what you can watch on TV – but in your favorite actors’ private life, well, perhaps you want to get in on it, now, don’t you? These kids’ fifteen minutes of fame have just begun, and they should probably start living them before they’re snatched away, in the way that they always seem to be oh-so-mysteriously done in the one and only Tinseltown. You might find the next Ronald Reagan in this cast, just as possible as you’ll find the likes of the next Lindsey Lohan or Marilyn Monroe. So, keep on the lookout, because these teens are here – and they’re more than determined to make it.

» “What is it like to be a part of what is surely bound to be such a nationwide phenomenon? It’s already being compared to the likes of the ever-running Degrassi and expected to surpass the current viewers of Glee in only its first few months on air!”

INNER THOUGHTS: ‘Not like I did it for anything more than a good laugh, sort of nice I got in, though. Always been a good actor if my endless encounters with the cops are anything to go by. I’ve gotta be way more careful now about where and when I smoke my weed, or else the producers’ll be on my ass, can’t really afford to be fired, since I’m the breadwinner of the family and all… shit.’

WHAT IS CAUGHT ON TAPE: “Really kind of an honor to be a part of all of this, you know. I’m not surprised, with how much fanmail we’ve all gotten by now, even though the show has yet to air and stuff. We’re all hoping for some good reception, and since it’s my first acting job – hell, it was my first audition ever and I got in, I mean, seriously… really awesome stuff’s been happening in my life lately just because I got in, not gonna lie. I’ve never watched those shows, but they’re everywhere, aren’t they? Specially that Glee one, so, it’s nice to see we’re being compared to them already.”

 » “Would you terribly mind giving us an insight into who your character will be this season? What he is like, what his similarities and differences are with you?”

INNER THOUGHTS: ‘Damn. Kind of really wish that I’d had a life as easy as his or his brother’s, not that they can know about my background. Dad would seriously kill me if I let it slip. Gotta stay on talk about Jason, not about myself… better that way. Basically, though, he’s an asshole that I wouldn’t ever let myself be associated with if I knew him. Fucker would probably be disgusted and bitch at me for getting dirt on his animal rug.’

WHAT IS CAUGHT ON TAPE: “Well, he’s this one rich boy, really, a bit of the resident as – meanie of the school. I’m really different from him in real life, though, I swear. I’d call him the Draco Malfoy of Windbreakers, honestly, gotta love Harry Potter, right? Except that he’s got this brother, and he’s like his opposite, and I think that they’re going to bring a lot of competition between one another that’ll be fun and real dramatic to watch. They say people always love a bad guy, though, so, I’m really hoping that they won’t totally hate me for playing him. Gotta say though, it’s really fun to be a bi – meanie every once in a while.”

 » “And how exactly do you get along with the other cast members?”

INNER THOUGHTS: ‘Am I supposed to get along with them? Most just care about themselves and their career and go to fancy restaurants that I wouldn’t dream of wasting my money on and are super stuck-up and hard to get along with, anyway. But I can’t say that, can I? Suppose I’ll have to let go of Asher a little bit and start hanging out with them to see what they’re really like. I mean, he’s one celebrity friend I’ve got, right? Why do I have to be friends with the rest when I’ve already got all the friends I need back home? Suppose it couldn’t hurt to get to know them a bit, though. I think I’ll try to.’

WHAT IS CAUGHT ON TAPE: “They’re all really cool, but I get along specially well with Asher Kane. You know, Asher Kane? The one with the biggest fanbase ever that’s been in the Hollywood business since he was a baby and has done more movies than Johnny Depp even though he’s only like, nineteen? That one, him and I, we’re tight, like this. Seriously, he’s the best ever, we actually met in the toilets before heading into shooting, you know? Was a bit starstruck and all, even better when they told me that he would be playing my brother in the show. I haven’t really gotten to know the others as much as him, but I suppose I’ll have all the time in the world to do so.”
